How might we build a network of North Carolina’s educators skilled in applying design thinking to develop creative solutions to complex problems in teaching and learning?
Develop a cohort of innovative educators where each is prepared to apply the design thinking process in their unique teaching context. The cohort will target educators from all subject areas in grades kindergarten to eighth. Through a series of experiential workshops, teachers will learn about the design thinking process with particular focus on how design thinking can be used to improve the human experience. Teachers will leave each session with lesson and project ideas, increased content expertise from professionals, and opportunities to network with colleagues and design professionals.
